In the municipality of Betulia, more than 50 coffee-growing families participated in a Pre-Harvest meeting, in which the 2024 Coffee Plantation Renewal Program was presented. During the day, the importance of implementing good agricultural practices was highlighted and the sustainability of coffee companies was discussed, with the aim of improving productivity and guaranteeing a more profitable and responsible future for coffee growers in the region.
The meeting was attended by Iván Arango, a representative of the Departmental Committee, the Extension Service, and the Salgar Coffee Growers Cooperative, who provided support and technical advice to the attendees. The activity reinforces the coffee industry’s commitment to sustainable development and the strengthening of producing families.
