The coffee growers democratically elected in the September Coffee Growers’ Elections took office to begin their term of representation, which will run until October 31, 2022. In Antioquia, there are 876 union leaders representing 80,000 coffee-growing families, through the Departmental Committee and 72 Municipal Coffee Growers’ Committees.
In its first session of the new term, https://www.ufaalr.com/ the Antioquia Coffee Growers Committee elected its new board of directors for a one-year term. Mr. Iván Arango Arcila will take over as president, and Mr. Darío Bernardo Saldarriaga Maya as vice president.
Each Municipal Coffee Growers Committee also elects its board of directors, for periods that may be fixed or variable.
